Born: Becember 18, 1924, Wallace, Idaho

Bob worked as a commercial artist before joining with California golf architect Bob Baldock as a draftsman in 1955. He became Baldock's chief design assistant.

In 1967 he left to open his own golf design company headquartered in Fresno, California.

In the early 1970's he became one of the first American's tp design courses in Europe.

When his Rancho Canada GC design in Carmel California opened in 1970, The National Golf Foundation (NGF) stated that Ranch Canada was the 10,000th US course.
