Jerry has been involved with golf course design and construction since 1982. A graduate of Murray State University, Jerry began his career working on the Kidwell Hurdzan Designed course at Murray State University as a golf course superintendent.

Jerry's first solo design came in 1984 when word of his talent reached Princeton Country Club in Kentucky. Jerry's redesign of the Perry Maxwell layout was so successful that Old Hickory Country Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee hired Jerry for their redesign.

In 1985 Jerry formed Golf Links Inc. and since then has provided golf course design services, construction management, turf grass management and business services to clients.
