Mark David Brooks

(1961-

Born: Fort Worth, Texas

Mark attended the University of Texas at Austin. He was a three-time All-American golfer. He turned professional in 1983. He carded seven wins on the PGA Tour, including one major, the 1996 PGA Championship.

In the 1990s, Brooks began a second career in golf course design, and was a partner in the firm of Knott-Linn-Brooks House based in Palo Alto, California. His first major project, the Southern Oaks Golf Club outside Fort Worth, opened in 1999 and was highly acclaimed.

After turning 50 in 2011, Mark joined and has competed on The Champions Tour.
