Steelwood Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Loxley, Alabama.

Steelwood first opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by Jerry Pate.

The course, designed by former U.S. Champion Jerry Pate, was rated by GolfDigest as the 5th best new private course in the country when opened. The vistas are spectacular, especially the 6 holes bordering the lake.

With no two fairways alike, and with four sets of tees on each hole, the course combines challenge and versatility that will appeal to players at every level.

Steelwood is a par-72 layout that plays to a maximum distance of 7,096 yards with a course rating of 74.0 and a slope rating of 144.
