Superstition Springs Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Mesa, Arizona.
Superstition Springs Golf Club first opened for play in 1986. The course was designed by Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin.
Superstition Springs Golf Club is not your typical desert course, in the design of Superstition Springs, the course architects sculpted the existing topography to create extensive and striking mounding, expansive bunkers, and a variety of attractive yet strategically-placed water features. When finished they had fashioned a course that was at once beautiful yet challenging . The fairways are wide open, but the holes can be cruel on your approach shots. You must be accurate and straight because of the many bunkers and other hazards on the course. The signature hole is #9, a 425-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over water.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7005 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5325 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 610 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 161 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, the 610 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Superstition Springs Golf Club is # 12, the 161 yard par-3.

This is a great trac to play. Well worth the current rates and winter rates aren't horrible. Unfortunately, they have a lot of weddings and receptions at this course and have an equally nasty habit of kicking the golfers out of the clubhouse for the sake of the wedding receptions. Be sure to call ahead and make sure there are no weddings on the day of play or you may not have a club house to have a beer in afterwards.

A challenging course. Has a discount card for locals.

A little overpriced but a favorite course. GPS fee's are a joke - build into the price if you HAVE to charge it. Beverage cart went by 2 times in 18 holes - not at all on the back 9.

I love this course. Big, difficult and great conditions. Too expensive to play very often.

Good course, but difficult. Worthwhile for summer rates, but overpriced in winter

The course layout is tight with good use of lakes and bunkers. Multiple tee boxes allow players to play a course that plays long and requires ball control to reach the green, or to play a course that requires precision and good course management from the medium and forward tees.
