Tonto Verde Golf Club is a semi-private golf venue open to the public located in Rio Verde, Arizona. The facility has two challenging 18-hole courses with spectacular views.

Golf course architects David Graham and Gary Panks chose to keep the natural contours of the land on the first course.

The result is a golf experience in harmony with its setting. The Tonto Verde courses respect both the beauty of the desert and the ability of the golfer. Both courses have been honored with national awards for their scenic charm and playability. With two championship course to choose from, Tonto Verde is more accessible than many golf clubs, private or public, particularly in the busy winter months.

he Ranch course, a Gary Panks design, plays at 6,988 yards. With five sets of tees on each course, they have the flexibility to provide an enjoyable and challenging test for golfers of any ability level. 

To speed the pace of play at Tonto Verde, state-of-the-art GPS yardage and course information systems are on our golf carts. Also, golfers are allowed to leave cart paths and drive directly to their ball. These features enable Tonto Verde to maintain a pace of play which averages four hours and fifteen minutes for eighteen holes. This is faster than at many of the other championship desert style course in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area.

Tonto Verde's PGA golf professionals are available for individual and group lessons.
