Chenal Country Club, is a Private, 36 hole golf course facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The facility has two, 18-hole championship golf courses. They are: The Founders Course and The Bear Den Course.
Founders Course (Opened 1990)
Chenal's first 18-hole championship course, the Founders course, is consistently ranked among the best modern golf courses in the nation. Robert Trent Jones, Jr., created a club setting like no other with the development of seven lakes. The Arkansas golf course blends perfectly into the forest of pines, oaks, natural dogwoods and colorful native flowering plants.
Bear Den Course (Opened 2003)
The newer course, Bear Den Mountain, has tight, tree-lined fairways, crystal clear creeks and wildlife protected areas. The 7,221-yard Arkansas golf course incorporates the natural features of the site, distinguishing it from the more open qualities of the original course.

This is the original Chenal course and IMO it is one of the top three courses in the state. It is well conditioned and maintained and can be extremely challenging with abundant sand and water throughout the course. During Spring and Fall months, the bent grass greens can be ramped up to 12-13 on the stimpmeter. In the very hot and humid summer months, the greens can become stressed. Highly recommended.
