Chenal Country Club, is a Private, 36 hole golf course facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The facility has two, 18-hole championship golf courses. They are: The Founders Course and The Bear Den Course.
Bear Den Course (Opened 2003)
The newer course, Bear Den Mountain, also a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design, has tight, tree-lined fairways, crystal clear creeks and wildlife protected areas. The 7,221-yard Arkansas golf course incorporates the natural features of the site, distinguishing it from the more open qualities of the original course.
Founders Course (Opened 1990)
Chenal's first 18-hole championship course, the Founders course, is consistently ranked among the best modern golf courses in the nation. Robert Trent Jones, Jr., created a club setting like no other with the development of seven lakes. The Arkansas golf course blends perfectly into the forest of pines, oaks, natural dogwoods and colorful native flowering plants.

This is the second 18 built at private Chenal Country Club. Unlike the original Founders Course, this tract is a tighter, tree lined course, meandering through wetlands. Very well maintained, sporting very fast bent grass greens that tend to become stressed in the hot, humid summer months. Personally, I prefer the Founders, but I've spoken to many that like this course better.
