Detailed description of Emerald Lakes Golf Center
Emerald Lakes Golf Center, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Elk Grove, California.
The course first opened for play in 1991 and was designed by Rick Yount.
The par 33 layout has 4 par 3s, 4 par 4s, and 1 par 5 with a yardage of 2,307 from white tees and 1939 from red tees. Three lakes make this a challenging experience for all players.
$10 (cart not included), played on Tuesday, March 2012 at 6am
The condition of the course is definately a plus. The greens are especially good and much faster than you find on local public courses. The maintenance staff always have an improvement project going and the course just keeps getting bettter. Another plus is the practice area for putting and short game. I like this course. Too bad there isn't more land available to expand to 18 holes.

Played here several times the last 2 years while visiting friends in California. Enough water, bunkers etc.. to keep things interesting but not too difficult. A fun relaxing course. Depending on the day of the week/time of day you may run into pace of play hiccups.
