Industry Hills Golf Club -Dwight D. Eisenhower, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in City Of Industry, California.
Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort is perhaps best known for its long, gracious fairways. At the same time, the club features a history as long as its landscape. Industry Hills counts itself as one of the oldest and most prestigious public courses on the West Coast. Thirty-six holes of championship golf spanning 650 acres are found on the Dwight D. Eisenhower and Babe Didrikson Zaharias courses. Both are considered among the best layouts in Southern California. Novices and professionals alike marvel at the unique layout including 160 sand bunkers (most are around Babe's 12th hole), eight lakes, and a seemingly endless horizon of large undulating bent grass greens.
The courses at Industry Hill first opened for play in 1979. William F. Bell designed the Eisenhower Course.
The Ike is a great test of golf. The course plays to 7,211 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 75.5 and the slope is 144 from the tips. Until 2003, the course record was a mere 1-under par 71, set by none other than Fred Couples.

Eisenhower Course just went through overseeding and was closed for a month (re-opened 11/16/18). Now it looks like an emerald gem. Greens are beautiful, ball sits up nice in lush fairways. Bunkers are getting better but need softer bottoms. Good place to play this time of year.

I played in a tournament benefitting St. Francis Hospital, Lynwood. I had played the Babe course in the past, but had never played the Ike course. Of the two it is the more challenging, i.e. longer. I was a guest for the tournament, but know the green fees are higher than the average courses in the area. It's well worth it and it's a challenge.

Every time I play I compliment on how beautiful this course is, there is always a real rainbow on 18th hole fountain!🌈. No kidding... you have to see it to believe me...as you finish your round 👀 look at the fountain and you will see it.....on a nice sunny day ☀️ I have been a member in the ladies club and there is no golf course that treat women like this place...we are treated like 👑

I have been a member for over 25 years. Great members group and tournaments scheduled every month. Play every Week on the Babe and Ike courses. Early times are the best, on weekends.

Reaonable annual fee for membership in this club places the daily fee at a very affordable level. The entire staff are first class. The men's club plays Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday ...and run by volunteers with the skills to make it a weekly event to look forward to. Men's Club members are diverse and come from afar to compete. The resturants serve excellant food. Most folks think the Ike is THE COURSE, but over the years I've grown to really appreciate both courses for they are both unique in design.

From the tips, the Ike course is probably one of the three toughest public courses in LA/OC. Condition is excellent and facilities are first class. I made the mistake (at my host's request) of playing the blacks for my first time out and found I had bitten off more than I could chew. I would recommend them for only the 5 or under handicap, regardless of length. Nonetheless, the condition of the course and the magnificent vistas made for a terrific round. Only real con is the 50 minute distance from my home.

The Ike is on of the best courses in southern California. All of the holes are well designed and fair. They are also difficult from any set of tees, demanding every shot you have and then some. The view of the mountains and the surrounding area is great from a number of holes. A great golfing experience.

Only reason food and bar facilities are rated as a "Con" is that the restaurant refurbishment was not completed when I was there. I'm sure it will be beautiful when finished.

Pre Covid, the only knock on the course would be pace of play during tournaments. Now, under restrictive LA County guidelines, golf staff an management are doing a tremendous job of welcoming and placing golfers on the courses, much better than Long Beach where I normally play. Under normal conditions, both courses are among the finest in Southern California. Challenging from any tees, large difficult greens when fast or above the hole, hilly with beautiful vistas of the San Gabriel Valley on clear days. Even under present circumstances the best value for golfers in Los Angeles. Today the fairways are mediocre, the greens are very good, the rough very punitive and frustrating if you play the ball down. Food and beverage are very limited, golfers drive their own carts, masks are required to access the property but not on the course itself. Flags cannot be removed. Still, if you're a golfer you'll enjoy the experience.
