Contra Costa Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Pleasant Hill, California.
The Contra Costa Country Club golf course was designed by Robert Muir Graves. The par 71 course plays to a maximum of 6,850 yards for a course rating of 71.5 and a slope rating of 131.
The Contra Costa Country Club was begun in 1925 by a small group of friends with a love for the game of golf, and the notion that we ought to get all the enjoyment out of life that we can. They thought that enjoyment and golf were two sides of the same coin and so they started this Club. Nothing pretentious or grand, just a solid golf course they could play with pleasure and take pride in. At Contra Costa, it has always been about “the courseâ€.
Over the years, through droughts and floods, depressions and wars, it has been constantly improved for the enjoyment of its members and their guests. The result of this constant attention to improvement is one of the finest golf courses in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Played Contra Costa Country Club over a year ago and the fairways were in horrible condition. This winter they were in excellent shape even with all the rain we've had. The greens were rolling very well. I was impressed with the overall improvement in this course since I last played here. I would definitely recommend.

Nice private course with a challenging layout that doesn't get boring with repeated play.

We played the course as part of a league arrangement with country clubs in our area. Teams compete with one another on each others home course. Contra Costa Country Club was in terrific shape both fairways and greens. It is a very interesting layout and if I lived closer to it would definitely consider joining. The back nine is tougher than the front but every hole is a fair test of golf and there are no unseen hazards to deal with. I would highly recommend playing this course!

Probably the worst condition of ANY country club I've played in the last few years. Many local muni's in better condition; it's a shame because it's always been a nice layout.

Great track. Challenging but fair; greens are great; little water/OB. Walkable and visually attractive/diverse/good views. Course is in great shape for winter, drains well.

The course is completely brand new. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all have been completely redone. Lots of ugly trees were removed to open it up and the greens are strategically placed to make it challenging but fair. Love it!
