Coto is private but is worth playing if you get the chance. Conditions are always top notch. Layout is challenging. Greens are very undulating and tiered so you have to hit the correct side or three putt a real possibility. North course the longer and tougher. Some of the best players in OC play here. Clubhouse first class. Resturant has good food, service could be better.

Coto is Awesome! I play in the Member Guest there every year as well as many other rounds throughout the year. Both the north and the south course are fun to play but the north course is the better of the two. The golf courses are always in immaculate shape and the greens are top notch. Alway smooth and fast. The staff is the best in Orange County.
