This short layout features 4 sets of teeboxes for the enjoyment of golfers of all skill levels. Although this course is relatively short, it is still challenging because of the hilly terrain.
With a slope of 129, Black Oak Golf Course is self-proclaimed as one of the toughest nine hole courses in California.

Play several tournaments a year here. I come up during the week to play. Less than $20 dollars to walk. This is a great course well maintained, with good greens.

I really enjoy Black Oak. It is a challenging course in the Foothills of the Sierras. Quiet and low key I always feel at home when I play here. Challenging but not impossible it is a very enjoyable round of golf.

Love this course! Not too long from the tips but will kick your butt if you're not careful. Greens are in great shape and roll fast and true. Owners are awesome and put together a great tournament package. We have had a few tournaments up there and will continue to come back because we haven't received better value anywhere else.

Black Oak Golf Course is one of the best 9 hole courses in the entire state. It is beautifully kept and very scenic. It is a great course to walk and twilight rate (after 1:00 pm) is only $12.00 and that includes Sat/Sun. The manager is a great guy and the golfer's friend. He sets up a beautiful tournament for your group with a BBQ lunch or dinner at a very reasonable rate. The best value around for a great round of golf!

One of the better 9 hole course's in California. This is my favorite track to play it's always in very good shape and most of the time you can finish in less than 2 hours. This is an actual golf course Unlike it's neighbor Gator creek which is just a joke as stated in my previous review along with my golfing buddy Dave. Not quite as tough as the Ridge,but is a good place to get a good walk in and work on hitting shots. This place requires you hit draws and fades and is easily trophy worthey. Me and my buddies will play this again as we have for many years good Job black oak Such a classy name as well.
