Rancho Murieta Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Rancho Murieta, California. The facility has two 18-hole courses. The are, The North Course and The South Course. The two courses are divided by the Consumnes River and are punctuated by many lakes which add to the beauty.
The South Course, designed by Ted Robinson, opened in 1979 and offers fairways that are wider. The South course still provides plenty of challenge for the experienced golfer, and provides a nice balance to the more difficult North Course. The South Course, with its more gentle terrain and more forgiving play is more like an outstanding resort course.
The South Course plays to a par-72 and measures 6,894 yards from the back tees.
The North Course opened for play in in 1971 and was later redesigned in 1986 by Arnold Palmer, has proven to be a challenge for amateurs and professionals alike. The third and fourth holes on the North Course have been called the two most challenging holes back to back in the entire Sacramento area.
The North Course plays to a par-72 and measures 6,839 yards from the back tees.

Excellent private country club and one of only five in California with 2 18 hole championship courses. Althought located in a gated community, an excellent value, gate control passes provided to non resident members.
