The Citrus Golf Course at La Quinta Resort, is a Private. members only, 18 hole golf course located in La Quinta, California. Members belong to The Citrus Golf Club and have access to their members only course and the La Quinta Resort golf courses.
La Quinta, The Citrus Golf Course opened for play in 1981. The course was designed by Pete Dye.
The Citrus Golf Course's signature white-skirted citrus trees line the fairways and add striking color and a pleasant fragrance to course play. Surrounded by the picturesque Santa Rosa Mountains, rolling terrain is punctuated by manicured greens and guarded by numerous water hazards and sand bunkers, the course is a jewel in the desert.
The Citrus Golf Course at La Quinta plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 7,121 yards. The course rating is 74.3 and the slope rating is 135. With six sets of tees, the Citrus Course accommodates golfers of all levels.
