Turkey Creek Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Lincoln, California.
Turkey Creek first opened for play in 1999. The par-72 course was designed by Brad Bell.
Turkey Creek plays to 7,012 yards from the back tees for a course rating of 73.4 and a slope rating.
The centerpiece of the course is the old granite quarry -now a lake -that comes into play on the third and 18th holes. The inclusion of the original quarry in the course layout reflects the designer's commitment to marry challenging play with the history and terrain of the region.
There are three distinct yet constant environmental signatures of the course: the rolling oaks woodlands on the front nine, the rugged quarry area, and a back nine that has been said to resemble Germany's Black Forest.

The course is usually in great shape and always a fun challenge to play. I would recommend making this course your "go to" course. The greens were just airated which made for a lousy putting day.

Course was in good condition. Greens were well maintained. Some tees needed a little work, but overall were good. Layout is challenging, but fun to play.

Hard but fair, course in good shape but greens were bumpy. Good shots rewarded and bad shots punished. Sot very well on the front 9 and fell apart on the back 9. Love it hurts so good.

This is the 4th time playing this course and at 4 hours 55 minutes, this was the FASTEST! They don't space out starting times, have marshalls who do nothing to expeditite play, and with a "come on down" attitude, ruin what is otherwise a wonderful course layout. Unfortunately, this is now on our "black" list of courses to avoid.

Recently punched greens not yet healed. Still bumpy and slow, but will be fine in a week or two.

PLAYED JANUARY 2009. Your date played column does not yet have a 2009 in it.
As for the course, I schedule a t-time each month for a group of retired folks and they would not complain if I scheduled this course weekly. Yes, it is a favorite.

One of the best Sacramento courses. Beautiful, country setting dotted with oak trees and granite boulders. The finishing holes are unbelievable.

I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of this course. The upkeep personell are doing an excellent job of maintaining top quality fairways and greens. There is water on the course and it really comes into play on the last hole. I drove 70 miles to play this course and I will drive it again because the aesthetics alone are worth the price. I have played Country Clubs that are not in this good condition. Recommended for all levels of players.

Outstanding course, especially the back nine. You'd think you were in an Oak Forest not a metropolitan area.
