Rancho Park Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Los Angeles, California.
Rancho Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course. The course first opened for play in 1920. The course was designed by William H. Johnson and William P. Bell.
The golf course is a challenging undulating course requiring a great deal of skill. A variety of lies provide a challenge, especially on approach shots to smallish greens. Rancho Park plays to a maximum distance of 6,688 yards for a rating of 71.7 and a slope rating of 124.

Blue tees: 6,630 yards, 71.2 / 121.
White tees: 6,308 yards, 69.7 / 117.
Red tees: 6,021 yards, 74.7 / 125.

Great course that is a part of golf history - former PGA and Senior Tour tournament sights. This tree-lined course has plenty of length and elevation changes. Unfortunately, the pace of play is the only real negative factor for the course. Another instance of golfers playing from the wrong set of tees as well as believing they have more distance with their shots or trying miracle shots from the trees which contributes to slow play.

Regular players do not cooperate withpace of play rules, and are very rude when you ask them to speed up if they are behind groups in front.Have played there for over 30 years and it was the 1st time I have ever seen two somes and three somes on the course during AM peek hours. NOT GOOD !! for pace of play.

Rancho is a great public course that has tons of play. If you don't get out before 7am you will have a 5+ hour round. They keep it in excellent shape for the amount of play but it needs upgraded facilities, i.e., clubhouse and driving range. I love playing there.

I play here on a regular basis. It is a challenging layout. Greens were airrated, so bumpy. Pace of play is always slow after 10am. Public course has one of the highest rounds of play in country! Has hosted pro tournaments since early 1900s.

Course is extremely good for local public course. Play, especially on weeeknds is impossible. I would never play therte again on a weekend.
