Fun course in excellent condition. I paid a reduced green fee because I played with a friend that was staying at the Desert Princess resort and had purchased a discounted golf package.

Very beautiful sights with Mt. San Jacinto as the back drop for many holes. Fairway and Greens in top condition. This is the perfect resort course.

The "value" rating is derived from the service available in the Palm Springs area: After 5:30 on any given day, one can call in to central service for following day tee times at discounted rates at courses that have not filled their schedules. Desert Princess offered discounts similar to the others, but its undiscounted weekend fee is lower than that of the other two courses I played during the period, further enhancing its perceived value relative to the other courses in the Palm Springs area which are, from what I heard and experienced in my one week there, all pretty spectacular golf venues. DP's offering of 3 very different nines was a real plus for me.

Not long but a good challenge. Water in play on many holes. Bunkers are well placed but fair. Most greens do not have huge undulations but have interesting, subtle slopes. Having 27 holes makes this a good home course as it gives variety and better access in prime times. Most members agree that they can play this course repeatedly without becoming bored with it.
