I was fortunate to play as a guest of a member for $35. But I would pay full green fees to play this course. It is probably the best golf course I have ever played. It is challenging, but so beautiful. It is hard to concentrate on the game because of the beauty of the golf course and surroundings. It is in fantastic condition, lush fairways, great bunkers, and terrific greens. I only wish my golf game justified playing the course.

Normally Spyglass is $325 for a round, but played in an NCGA sponsored tournament (Public Links Net Championship) so the price was $250 for two rounds. One of the most beautiful courses on the Monterey Peninsula. I would rather play Spyglass than Pebble beach given the choice. Greens are SUPER fast and true. You have to stay below the hole to have a shot here. Most definitely difficult and plays longer than it looks. i can't wait to play here again!

This is a very difficult golf course. Unlike many other courses in the area, it has some very hilly holes. Only a few holes with ocean views, the rest playing inland. It is impeccably maintained and very challenging, with long, lush rough.

Spyglass is a great course to play and very challenging for true golfers. You need to club up on almost every hole. One of the drawback is the price for non-Dukes club members. If you frequent the PB area much to play golf, get a Dukes membership and lower your costs. One of the main drawbacks was the small clubhouse and some, not all, of the personnel working in it. Also, if you're a single and want a cart, they will force you to pay the full $75. This is an absolutley ridiculous amount to pay for a golf cart! You're better walking the course and taking in the views.

This was a nice "once in a lifetime" course to play. Probably wouldn't spend that much to play this course again, but I'm glad I had the oppertunity to say that I've played it. There were deer all over the course and it really made it fun to play around them!

Absolutely wonderful layout and a stern test, with long, uphill par 4's. Fairways and greens were in stellar condition. For a hundred bucks less than Pebble, this is their best course. Would definitely play it again.
