Shadow Ridge Golf Course is a Marriott Hotel, Resort/Public golf course located in Palm Desert, California.
Shadow Ridge Golf Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Nick Faldo, Brian Curly, and Lee Schmidt.
The first signature course designed by British golfing legend, Nick Faldo in US, it’s a very long par-71 (7,006 yards), a course that probably plays at least two stokes longer than that. Faldo is well-known for his tricky approach to golf course design and nowhere is it demonstrated more than here at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge Resort. It’s a challenging course, but enjoyable for golfers of all levels of skill.

The greens were punched, for the second time this month, but it is still a great course. The greens should be healed in two more weeks.

Friendly staff; great practice facility - putting, chipping, driving range. A great fit for a low handicapper and 6600 yards length. Nice layout in good location - I would play it again!

I play this course every time I go to Palm Desert and I love it. It is a challenge but fair, the conditions have always been great and the pace of play is better than most public courses. They have one of the top practice facilities in the desert with a large driving range, a great short game area, practice bunkers, and several putting greens. If you go to the Palm Desert area and don't play this course you're really going to miss out.
