Windsor Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Windsor, Sonoma County, California.
Windsor Golf Club first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Frederick C. Bliss.
Windsor's par 72 championship course has played host to several PGA Nike Tour events, giving the course a unique cachet that lets golfers follow in the footsteps of the pros.
A challenging layout traverses a year-round creek, lakes and oak trees, all open to a sprawling sky at this never routine 6,650-yard course.
With lush fairways, manicured greens, and well-placed sand-bunkers, Windsor Golf Club provides a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Although holes 2 and 7 were both consistently ranked among the "Top 10 Most Difficult" on the Nike Tour, the 6,650-yard layout is relatively forgiving. The course rating is 71.7 and the slope rating is 127.
Windsor's four tee options provide an appropriate challenge for any skill level. Windsor and Wine Country, some say this is golf at its best!

Greens were being aerated, but they gave us a 2 for 1 special. Good layout.

Great course and a great day. It has a few funky holes but the course was in great shape, the price is right and the staff was friendly. I have not played it in years but I will definitely be back.

Great course and a good day, but there was a slow down that could have been pushed up if the Marshall had been aggressive.

Great course. Every hole is unique and a challenge. There are elevation changes, enough water to make life interesting, and the bunkers are well placed to protect the greens many times. One of the unique features is a pair of silohs on the 3rd fairway. Aim just to the right of them to avoid a huge bunker in front of the green. All of this is hidden from the tee by a natural rise in the fairway. Avoid guesswork by purchasing a course book or checking out the course layout before your round.

You know you're in for something different when you get to the first green and see that it's shared with the 18th hole. The layout of the course is quirky and somewhat confusing the first time out, but the conditions are very good and the layout/challenge of most holes excellent. A little pricey, but generally worth it. Also has the best driving range that I've found in the area.
