Only place to play for 100 miles after a heavy rain due to excellent drainage. Hard to get my regulars to play here because of difficulty and lost balls. We now enjoy blue tees at just over 500 yards but still hard to shoot handicap.

this is not for high handicappers from the blue tees. white or gold tee would be better. some holes are a 200 yard carry to fairway much trouble must hit ball straight, greens are OK. very good but difficult.

I play it often and have grown to love inspite of how difficult it is.

One of the best in Nor Cal. Tests all the shots in your bag. Greens rool true but are fast. Could use more cart persons though-hard to get a beer when you're playing, especially in the morning.

This is a good course if you play from the proper tees. We played a tournament from the black tees. most players had higher scores than usual ,even the better golfers. We should have played from blue tees. would have had a better time . It was not fun. Players lost 4 to 10 balls. I only lost 2 balls both in water.

Excellent venue, great views of Mt Tamalpais, wetlands, water, wildlife....some very beautiful holes (9,15,16,17. Very good food at the bar and grill. Great ambiance. Treated like a private member even though it is a public facility.

Fantastic layout, though a faders paradise as every dogleg is to the right. Definitely a must play with a yardage book, GPS or someone with local knowledge, as many shots are blind depending on your position off the tee. Fairways and greens were in great shape, and the tiered rough wasn't overly penal on errant drives. Plenty of water on the course, as well as environmentally sensitive areas. Bunkers were well manicured and the sand actually fun to play out of. Will definitely play this one again.

The greens roll very well. It is a challenging walk for part of the course.

I enjoyed playing here and the course is in better than average condition. It seems that the price is based on exclusiveness and not based on the quality of course.

One of the most beautiful clubhouses you will ever come across. Except for a few holes though, the course itself is a bit overrated.

Best draining course in rainy season in the area. Players Club discount makes this a steal compared to other courses in the area. Best conditioned course in the area. Can be a little prone to wind. Definitely worth frequent play. Beautiful clubhouse.

This course is not for players with handicaps greater than 20. It will be you up. A lot of water and a lot of extreme/natural rough. Bring lots of balls. Don't expect to beat your handicap. Good views and every hole is different. If you like a challenge come here. They have twilight and internet deals. Good bar too!
