Rolling Hills Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Rolling Hills Estates, California.
Rolling Hills golf course first opened in November 1963 as a 9 hole layout. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1972. The course was designed by Ted Robinson. The course played to 6,112 yards of golf from the back tees for a par of 72.
The course closed in 2015 with the plan to totally remake the course. The adjacent property was purchased and the course length was expanded and the course was totally remade. The "new" course was opened in January 2018. The revisioned Rolling Hills Golf Course was designed by Scottish golf architect David McLay Kidd. The 160-acre development now occupies what was once a rock quarry and later a landfill adjacent to the original golf course that was closed in 2015 when work began on the new course.
The new Rolling Hills course is 7,150 yards long from the back tees and just over 5,000 yards from the front tees. The course’s biggest challenges are on the large, contoured greens. The 18th green is 60 yards across, with a bunker

Have belonged to this club for about 5 years. The staff go out of their way for members all the time. When the new course is built ( in about 3-5 years, by my estimate) it will be the course/club everyone else will look up to!
