Calabasas Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Prior to its' founding in 1968, the Club was the site of the famed Warner Ranch. The terrain offered such picturesque landscapes that it was chosen to be the film site of many motion pictures including National Velvet and Robin Hood.
