Heather Ridge golf course opened in 1973. Dick Phelps designed this 18-hole Championship golf course that winds through a picturesque residential setting with views of the Rocky Mountains. In 1989, Heather Ridge hosted the Denver Open.

Heather Ridge is an example of a residential community banding together to save the golf course that was a central part of their neighborhood theme. Without community involvement, they would be just another housing development, not a viable golf course community keeping the open space open!
