There are 2 golf courses within the Heritage Village complex. The Private Heritage Village Country Club and the semi-private Pomperaug Golf Course. Heritage Village Country Club is a Championship caliber golf course, having hosted the Nabisco Dinah Shore LPGA Golf Tournament for many years. The semi-private Pomperaug golf course is less challenging but equally as pleasant to play.
Heritage Village Country Club Golf Course __________
Located on what once was farmland in the 1800's the Heritage Village Country Club Golf Course was designed by Al Zikorus and opened in 1967, Heritage Village Country Club winds its way throughout the Heritage Village community. Instead of designing straight away fairways, 16 of the 18 holes are majestically carved through the foothills and along the Pomperaug River. Heritage Village Country Club Golf Course has seven ponds that come into play on ten holes. The fairways are somewhat hilly with some trees that can affect your shots. There are sand bunkers on all the holes except one.

Pomperaug Golf Course __________
Pomperaug Golf Course opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Ted Manning.
Ponperaug Golf Course has water that comes into play on seven holes. The course plays to a 9-hole distance of 2,750 yards and a par of 35.
