Connecticut Golf Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Easton, Connecticut.
The Connecticut golf course first opened for play in 1966. The par-72 course was designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish.
The Connecticut Golf Club was designed to create ideal playing conditions for members who are interested in playing golf. It was never intended as a country club, nor does it compete with them. It is a club devoted primarily and exclusively to the playing of golf.
The greens are extremely challenging, and precision is required for all tee shots and approach shots to the greens. In addition to the driving range and large practice putting green, they have a short game practice area. The course sees fewer than 10,000 rounds per year, which keeps the course in great shape and to enables members and guests to play rounds at a pace at which they are comfortable. This is a daunting golf course designed for golfers who love the game. Three of the four par three holes are over water and one has water to the right of the green. The traps are many and have raised grass slocs on the side toward the green. This is a real "man's" course.
The course is rated at 74.4 from the Black (Back) Tees; 73.0/143 from the Blue (Middle) Tees; and 70.5/142 from the White (Forward) Tees. Yardages are 6899, 6569 and 6147 respectively.
The dining room is open for breakfast and lunch only. The bar is open until the last person leaves.
