Quail West Golf & Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Naples, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are The Lakes Course and The Preserve Course.
Both courses were designed by Arthur Hills. The Preserve Course opened in 1992. The Lakes Course followed 4 years later, opening in 1996.
Both The Lakes and The Preserve have six sets of tee boxes so that golfers of all skills can enjoy the courses, and with a 600 member limit, access to a course is easy.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,041 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,105 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 582 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 177 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 18, a 444-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Estuary Golf Course is # 4, a 527 yard par-5. It should be noted that #4 for ladies plays to 432 yards and is the #1 handicap for women.
The Lakes Course offers wide-open vistas across a system of shimmering lakes. The layout is fairly open and has a links feel to it, although there are numerous water hazards and marsh areas to negotiate. In true Hills fashion, there are a variety of bunkers to avoid and undulating greens that can make holing out in regulation a challenge.
Quail West offers single-family estate homes priced from $1 million to $7 million. For those wishing to design their own custom estate home, Quail West has oversized home sites with prime views still available.
