Really enjoyed the golf course. Was very challenging, but even with a high handicap I was able to play it well. Many long holes give the women a big advantage, and that made it much more fun for us.

One of the best public courses you can play and a bargain too! Great facility, great staff, terrific value. You can't go wrong here.

Played on a golfnow.com special rate. $18 for 18 holes and cart. Course was in pristine condition and was truly a joy to play. Only con is that we had to wait out a rain delay and the restaurant/snack bar is pretty lacking in choice, in fact they wouldn't even turn on the grill so we were left with cold sandwiches. Regardless the course is well worth making a trip to an out of the way location and is one of the best conditioned courses I have played, this includes Doral and other resort courses.

Difficult course to play first time around. Suggest the course have a placard at the tees to indicate hole layout. Marshalls are roaming continuously cautioning everyone to speed up, but never seem to observe the foursomes and offer any constructive criticisms. In my opinion, they actually delay play!

Visiting from the UK and found this course on the internet. We were not disappointed. I run a golf club at home so know what the sevrets to a great are. This ticks all the boxes. A superb layout with natural hazzards. A rustic feel to the course adds to the enjoyment. I am not a huge fan of perfect manicured layouts. A huge bonus is the price, even though we played in 95 degree heat! It was worth it. We drove from Davenport to get there and it will be on the return rosta in November.

Hmmmm... This is a two-faced review. I went to World Woods, ranked #39 in the US for public courses, expecting to be blown away. I WAS NOT. The course is great... nice scenery, some WOW holes, awesome design for the most part... but it's not a once in a lifetime course, although probably in my top 5.

This is the best golf course to play that is not well known because it is located in a remote area.
