Indianwood Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Indiantown, Florida.
Indianwood Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1985.
The course at Indianwood is a tough course to score well on, but it is fun to play. There are some sand bunkers on the course, but the main hazards are the lakes and wetlands that come into play on most of the holes. The front nine has young trees that haven't quite matured, and the back nine, the older of the two, has many pine trees lining its fairways. The greens are undulating and fast, and the fairways have a defined cut of rough, so shot accuracy is at a premium. The signature hole is #1, a 322-yard, par 4, requiring a blind approach shot over the "Dragon's Head" berm in order to reach the green.
Indianwood Golf & Country Club is a par-70 layout that measures 6,008 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 69.2 with a slope rating of 125.
Indianwood golf course is a part of a Florida retirement and vacation golf course community.

If you play here it is either because you have a winter home/trailer in the adjoining trailer park or you live 30 miles away and are tired of paying rediculous south Florida tourist season golf prices. It is pretty much a straight forward layout with nothing hiding. The holes run back-to-back and side-to-side. The back nine has a lot of large overgrown trees and these effect fairway conditions. The front nine has a few holes requiring you to hit your shots to avoid the water hazards. There are no houses in play. It won't go down as a memorable course.

This is a hidden gem. I have played golf in the Stuart, Port St. Lucie , Ft. Pierce areas for thirty plus years. I just found this place. It's a well cared for course with plenty of risk and reward shots. Great prices on everything from the pro shop to the restaurant. Friendly and informative staff. This place is in my top ten faves now. I drive an hour and a half to play Indianwood and its worth it.
