Detailed description of Pine Oaks Golf Course
Pine Oaks Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf course located in Ocala, Florida. The course has three 9-hole courses, the North, South, and East. These 9-hole course can be combined to form 3 different 18 hole, Par-72 combinations.
From rolling hills to tree lined fairways, Pine Oaks Golf Course offers a challenge for the scratch golfer as well as an enjoyable outing for the recreational golfer. The course winds through "shot makers" courses with a reputation for service and value.
Pine Oaks first opened for play in 1987. The courses at Pine Oaks were designed by Ron Garl.
The North Course at the Pine Oaks plays to 3,305 yards from the back tees. Par for the North Course is 36.
The South Course at the Pine Oaks plays to 3,228 yards from the back tees. Par for the South Course is 36.
The East Course at the Pine Oaks plays to 3,095 yards from the back tees. Par for the East Course is 36.

A very good municipally owned course. Worth playing.

Winter conditions, fairways are not watered and do get brown. Greens need some work as they get brown in the winter as well. I played in a men's league so the price was very reasonable. The regular prices are about the same as most of the courses in this area. In the summer the rough gets very high and is tough to get out of if you can find your ball. I've played this course for on and off for the last 9 years.

There are few places that have a friendlier staff that are as helpful as the requester ask.
