The course first opened for play in 2004, The course architect was Dave Harmon.

This is a links-style course. This open course is set among 100-year-old oaks in the rolling hills of Lake County It's one of the finest natural golf settings. You feel alone with nature and one heck of a golf challenge. This course is not for the weak of heart. But there are five choices of tees, so be conservative in picking your challenge.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,152 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,135 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 549 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 187 yards from the back tees.
