Detailed description of Mirror Lake - Mountain Course
Mirror Lake Golf Course is a 36 hole golf course facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. The facility has two 18-hole championship courses, The Lake Course and the Mountain Course. Mirror Lake is part of the Cannongate group of approx. 20 courses located predominately in central Georgia. Membership allows you to play any of the family of courses.
The Lake Course has 5 tee options, this course is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The golf course was built on a 100-acre lake and features breathtaking views and large, gently undulating greens.
The Lake course is a Par -72 course. It plays to 6,826 yards from the back (Black) tees. The course rating is 72.4 and the slope rating is 137.
Mirror Lake first opened for play on 1999, The course was designed by Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton. The facility offered 27 holes, but a 4th 9-holes were completed in November 2006 which allowed for the Mountain Course.
The Mountain Course is slightly longer than The lake course. The Mountain course is a Par -72 course. It plays to 7,097 yards from the back (Black) tees. The course rating is 74.2 and the slope rating is 142.

Seven holes on the front 9 are only a couple of years old. They are still growing in. The greens are ok, however, some of the new greens are very firm and are difficult to hold. The fairways are better than last year and are getting better but the growing season is now ending.
Holes #1 and #9 and the almost all of the back nine already existed and are in great shape, #18 is new but it is in good shape and has good grass, 2nd shot is over water and is difficult to lay up, green is just over lake and requires 140 to 200 yard 2nd if you chose to go for it (par4).
