Cherokee Hills Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Murphy, North Carolina.
Cherokee Hills Country Club first opened for play in 1969. The par-72 course was designed by William Wells.
The course was built on hilly terrain. The signature hole is #3, a 520-yard, par 5, which requires an approach shot over a pond.
White tees: 6,324 yards, slope rating 70, course rating 113.
Red tees: 5,172 yards, slope rating 68, course rating 111.
The course closed on December 31, 2016.
$10 (cart included), played on Thursday, June 2009 at 8am
Fairways and rough had not been mowed in a while. Greens were excellent.
