Monroe Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Monroe, Georgia.
Monroe Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1958 as a nine hole course designed by Chick Adams. Bill Amick designed the back nine, which was added in 1971, and Don Cottle. redesigned the entire course in 1990.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,300 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,964 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 498 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
The signature hole is #5, a 450-yard, par 4, to an elevated green and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at the Monroe Golf Course is # 12, the 160 yard par-3. Water that comes into play on three holes.

Always have a good time playing this course. Great course for an amateur golfer.

Relatively short, even from the back tees, but a real joy to play. Greens in particular were in great shape. Visually appealing course with good variety of holes.
