Detailed description of The Landings Club, The Marshwood Course

The Landings Club is a Private Club, located in Savannah, Georgia.

The Club has six 18-hole Championship golf courses designed for Landings Club members and their guests by four master architects. - Arnold Palmer, Willard Byrd, Arthur Hills, and Tom Fazio. Each course is stylistically unique, showcasing the natural beauty of Skidaway Island as well as the distinctive mark of its designer.

The Marshwood Course was the first of The Landings Club's six golf courses. The course opened for play July 1974. Arnold Palmer teamed with golf course architect Frank Duane to design Marshwood.

Weaving around and through the oak and pine trees of the northeastern end of Skidaway Island. Marshwood offers spectacular views of Romerly Marsh, Marshwood is also considered to be one of the tightest courses at The Landings.

#12, a par three facing Romerly Marsh and Wassaw Sound, is perhaps the most scenic hole at The Landings.%u200B
