Detailed description of Mirror Lake - Lake Course
Mirror Lake Golf Course is a 36 hole golf course facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. The facility has two 18-hole championship courses, The Lake Course and the Mountain Course. Mirror Lake is part of the Cannongate group of approx. 20 courses located predominately in central Georgia. Membership allows you to play any of the family of courses.
The Lake Course has 5 tee options, this course is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The golf course was built on a 100-acre lake and features breathtaking views and large, gently undulating greens.
The Lake course is a Par -72 course. It plays to 6,826 yards from the back (Black) tees. The course rating is 72.4 and the slope rating is 137.
Mirror Lake first opened for play on 1999, The course was designed by Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton. The facility offered 27 holes, but a 4th 9-holes were completed in November 2006 which allowed for the Mountain Course.

This course is great fun!! Water/Marsh come into play on 7 holes.
Greenside bunkers are green high (mostly) which allows for good shots and the sand is good. Green are fast and have several teirs. Fairway grass is thick allowing the ball to set up.
This course is part of the Cannongate Family of 20 courses. With monthly dues of $115 and green fees of $8-10 plus cart $14 this is the best bargains in GA. You can also play the other member courses for about the same and some of these are 5 stars all the way!
