I played Hamakua course on a Saturday afternoon. The pace of play was what I made it. No one was in front of me, and no one behind me caught up.
This has to be one of the best bargains in Hawaii. $15 a day for as much golf as I could handle. And I can handle a lot of golf. It was the walking that was getting to me. There are hills! The course will challenge your game as well as your condition. The views were great, could see the ocean and I was playing golf. This is all good.
Green fees are inserted in a slot box..honor sytem.
For a fun round of nice practice golf at a great rate (equivilent to good mainland USA rate, not paradise USA rate) this course is highly recommended.
