I play with a group of senior who travel and have played 20 plus courses to date this season. This course is always one of our favorites. It is not the most demanding or finest course but the staff with Ed and Deb make you feel like home. They are warm and welcoming. The course is enjoyable and not easy and will pose challenges to many. Prices are very fair and as a result, many play the course and it is crowded and pace of play slow. However, we will play this course 3-4 times just because. Except for Sandy a Pines in the south area, this course is the finest to play. Ed and Deb also most make it #1.

This course is always fun to play and is challenging and yet fair priced. Ed and his daughter are the finest people I have met while playing at golf courses in Ind/Ill. You feel extremely welcome and the course makes the experience indeed enjoyable. Course is challenging and is only one tier below what would rank as a championship course experience. Bar and grill is outstanding and all are friendly. We always play this course at least 5-6 times each year. If I were to join a course, this would be the one due to the course quality and the people who are running it. All my friends from Crown Point enjoy our experiences when we play.

Our group of traveling retirees from NW Indiana and Illinois just got back from this course. Staff is simply outstanding with Ed and Debbie running all facets of the course and clubhouse.
Course is fun to play but water has done some damage. The greens are small and were in average shape. They are very small. Fairways are not highly manicured. This course is just a fun day out and not far from our home town. Ed and Debbie are always inviting to all. If you just want to have a fun day on a fun but not very expensive course, this is it. Enjoy!
We have already played 15 plus rounds of golf this year and on a different course each and every time. This would be a slightly below average course in terms of golf values, but it is big on fun and value.
