Detailed description of Ironwood Golf Course
Ironwood Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Normal, Illinois.
The Ironwood Golf course is the Normal, Illinois's full service golf facility. It features a par 72 layout playing from 5400-6900 yards with four sets of tees.
Ironwood first opened for play in 1990 and was designed Roger Packard. The course meanders through the Ironwood residential subdivision.
Additional features include a grass tee driving range, large practice putting green and a practice bunker. The Golf Academy at Ironwood, under the direction of a Professional Golf Instructor is also located at the course.
$31 (cart included), played on Wednesday, May 2008 at noon
They now have a new pro and new grounds keepers. They are putting in irrigation systems this year through the fairways, but doing a fantastic job to keep the course in fantastic playing shape. The Pro is great the new clubhouse is fantastic and they always treat people with a lot of respect.
