Foss Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1972.
Foss Park Golf Course offers 6,839 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.9 and the slope rating is 113. The course has three sets of teeboxes for a fun, challenging round of golf for all skill levels. Instructional programs are available.
This championship course has sand bunkers, and water hazards strategically placed throughout the design. Most holes have trees that can alter your shots.
From the back tees the course plays to 6839 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5846 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 536 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 444 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 177 yard par-3.

I am a senior and retired,purchase a foss card for eighty dollars and play any time during the week for just 20.00 bucks with a cart! quality of course and amenity's are outstanding.

Recent renovation has greatly improve the facility. Full driving range. Condition of fairways and greens is outstanding. Addition of more fairway and green-side bunkers would make this a great challenge. As is, it is a nice experience.
