Laurel Greens Golfers Club, is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Knoxville, Illinois. The facility has four nine hole courses that are playable alone, or in various eighteen hole combinations.
The first 9 opened for play in 1970. The courses were designed by Clyde Raible.
Each course has enough variety of terrain to challenge the most experienced golfer. Even though the fairways are wide, there are creeks and lakes coming into play on many holes. The wind can be a major factor while playing these courses. Condition can be an issue. It's sometimes hard to tell where the fairways leave off and the rough begins, but the price is right. Fun course off the tee, where you can grip it and rip it for the most part.

36 holes of poorly groomed farm pasture...Hopefully you are distracted by the scenery to not notice the poor conditions of this "golf course" and I use that phrase loosely. Whole number 1 looks like a farmer plowed right through the green. There are no fairways to speak of. I would have seen better conditions golfing in my own back yard. The club house - again it is hard to actually use these words - is a barn. The old lady (sorry don't remember her name) will direct you to a spigot of water on whole 14 where you can get a drink of water at your own risk. I could have done a better job myself of creating a green with a weed wacker. I could go on and on but I think you get my drift. In this case you get what you pay for.
