Woodbine Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Lockport, Illinois.
Woodbine Golf Course opened for play in 1988. The course was designed by Gordon Cunningham.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6020 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5618 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 512 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 139 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 14, a 420 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Woodbine Golf Course is # 7, a 162 yard par-3.
At 6020 yards, Woodbine is ideal for golfers who enjoy walking or riding. Flanked by 5 ponds, 21 bunkers, and natural grass preservation areas, Woodbine provides a forgiving layout that will challenge both low to high handicap golfers.

Nice, not too difficult. Wide open for less experienced but easier course for better players. Good for a relaxing round if you don't want to think too much.
$21 (cart not included), played on Sunday, April 2008 at 2pm
This is a nice wide open layout so you can recover easily from the occaisional errant shot. Otherwise a nice layout, moderately challenging with fairways and greens that are in pretty good shape. Sand traps are generally pretty hard, but that would be my only knock. If you're looking for a big time challenge, there are much better courses around, but for and enjoyable round of golf, Woodbine is just fine!
