Ramsey Lake Golf Course first opened for play in 1966.

Ramsey Lake Golf Course is a nine hole golf course. The course is located in Ramsey, IL and is a short distance from Ramsey Lake State Park where you can enjoy fishing, camping, and horseback riding. Ramsey Lake Golf Course course is open year round (weather permitting). Although they do not sell alcoholic beverages in their pro shop, they allow you to bring your own. Yippee!

Ramsey Lake Golf Course is easy to walk because of its flat terrain. Even though the fairways have many mature trees lining them, they still afford generous landing areas. Water hazards and sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. Yet, the course is still great for beginners just taking up the game.

Ramsey Lake Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par-35 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,750 yards.
