I've played many of the other public courses in the area and the Arboretum was the best so far....I won't spend over $50 to play Not the longest course, but really made me think off the tee.

I play this course weekly and have grown to love its challenges. It has taught me to play every club in my bag and focus on where I want to place the ball. The greens are fast and true. In mid- season the flowers are gorgeous and the fairways perfect.

Target golf. Water in play on more than half the holes. Bring your A game when you play here.

Fairways should be cut all the way to the greens instead of the target golf layout. Like the second hole, where the fairway ends about where your drive should end up. Otherwise plenty of hazards, nice greens and fairways.

This is a true test of golf without the wind. When it blows hang on to your hat. OB on 16 holes. Water hazard on 15 holes. If you never played here and are more than a 15 handicap you'll need a dozen balls. The short length of the course is no indication of it's difficulty. Greens are small, undulating and well bunkered. Note: Whenever I've played the Arboretum I've had to repair too many ball marks and divots..... Players should be more considerate. Staff is great!
