Woodmar Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Hammond, Indiana.
Woodmar Country Club first opened for play in 1982. The course was designed by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent.
The Woodmar Country Club Golf Course has tight fairways with several sand bunkers and numerous trees. The signature hole is #12, a 460-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over the water, which parallels the fairway. Golfers who chose to walk are required to walk the course with a caddie.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,515 yards, 71.4 / 127
White tees: par-72, 5,485 yards, 71.5 / 118
Red tees: par-72, 6,121 yards, 69.8 / 122
The Woodmar Country Club Golf Course closed in 2005.

Woodmar Country Club was sold and became a Cabela's Sporting Goods Store in 2008! I used to caddy here during the mid 60's.
