Helfrich Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1923. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
Helfrich Hills features many hills and valleys and remains one of the favorite tests of golf in the tri-state. The tree-lined fairways will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Four sets of tees allow each golfer to pick the right challenge to hone their skills. The Tri-State Amateur & U.S.G.A. Public Links Qualifinng rounds are hosted at Helfrich Hils Golf Course.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6306 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5506 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 558 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 125 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, the signature hole is 396-yard, par 4 challenge, requiring a tee shot past the water hazard lining the left side of the fairway, then an approach shot to a green elevated approximately eighty feet above the fairway. This is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Helfrich Hills Golf Course is # 15, a 307 yard par-4.

Fairways were in terrible shape. Course should of offered a discount especially since every hole was cart path only. Will not go back this year forsure!!
