Bass Lake Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located just a few miles south of Knox, Indiana on the west side of Bass Lake.
The Bass Lake Golf Course Clubhouse was built in 1889 as the home of Frederick and Emma White. They sold their home and 210 acres to the golf course developers.
Bass Lake Golf Course is one of the oldest courses in Indiana having first opened for play in 1922.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6300 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5600 yards.
The course was purchased in 2006 by Rudy and Cindy DeSabatine. Rudy, an excavator who has done work with area courses to include Chesapeake Run Golf Club and Mystic Hills, bought the Bass Lake Course when it became available.
A hands-on sort of guy, Rudy immediately set out to have the greens refined along with replanted fairways, and added an irrigation system. Rudy's excavation skills came in very handy for improving drainage for the course. Cart Paths were also rebuilt.
