Dodge Riverside Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, just off Interstate 29 (exit 53a) and directly across the street from Harrah's Casino Hotel. You'll enjoy the course as well as the views of the Missouri River and downtown Omaha landscape
Dodge Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1927. The course was designed by Patrick H. Wyss.
Dodge Riverside Golf Club is a traditional style course. This scenic course's back nine was designed to play alongside a river. There are many sand bunkers and oak trees that can alter your shots. A major renovation project in 1996 has complimented the course's mature tree-lined fairways with some of the best greens in the area.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,339 yards

While Dodge Riverside has been home to our Wednesday PM Women's League for three years, I try to play there as a twosome whenever possible. After the 2011 Missouri River flooding, the city used the opportunity to greatly improve drainage. As a result, there are rarely cart path only rounds. Typically, small sections will be roped off at worst. The golf staff are accommodating and friendly. The attached restaurant is superior. From the perspective of a committed duffer, the course is great to play. There are numerous well treed, soccer field fairways with well protected greens. The 9th and 18th tees play long for the league with the foursomes dragging themselves in after nine holes. I would typify this golf club as a "Grip and Rip" course built for fun.

Hot weather has taken a toll on local golf courses. Dodge Riverside is no different. Also last years flood effects are still being felt with #9, usually a par 5 playing as a par 3 until they get the repairs completed. Fairways and greens showing some stress. They have a coupon special currently at $17 for seniors with a cart. Not a bad deal for an OK course.

Dodge is a good course and the greens are usually fast and good, which is the most important part of a course. the overall condition of the course is good, but the greens are really better than most others. $16 to walk nine is a little high but I really like the course.
