Red Dog Run, is a Public 9 hole golf course located on the banks of The Rock River in East Moline, Illinois.
Red Dog Run first opened to play in 1996. The Course was designed by Gary Locke.
This nine hole course is situated on very flat terrain. The fairways average approximately forty-five yards in width are wide open and the rough is very short. The greens are average in size and have mild undulation.
The signature hole is #6, a 170-yard, par 3, which has a pond close to the long, narrow green. A sand bunker guards the left side of the green.
Blue tees: Par-36, 3,200 yards
White tees: Par-36, 3,044 yards
Red tees: Par-36, 2,850 yards
The course closed in July 2010 after summer flooding of The Rock River. Owner and course designer made the decision at that point to sell the property and move to Florida.
